How to clear cookies and site data for one website
In Chrome, open the site, click the icon to the left of the address bar, then Cookies and site data → Manage on-device site data → Delete. ClearKit does it in one tap from the popup, and can delete that domain's history entries — subdomains included — at the same time.
Doing it manually in Chrome
- 1Open the site you want to reset.
- 2Click the tune or lock icon at the left of the address bar.
- 3Choose "Cookies and site data", then "Manage on-device site data".
- 4Delete the entries and reload the page.
Where the manual way falls short
- It clears cookies and storage but leaves the site's history entries behind, and you have to repeat the whole path for every subdomain.
- It is buried four clicks deep and moves between Chrome versions — hard to do quickly when a site is broken and you just want it reset.
Doing it with ClearKit
- 1Open ClearKit on the site — the current domain is already at the top of the popup.
- 2Tick "Also delete its history entries" if you want the visits gone too.
- 3Tap "Clear this site" and reload.
